I've been subbed to Moises for a year now and it is a fantastic tool! I plan on upgrading to hifi to use the tracks as backing tracks live.
why can't you see all tracks on a mixer board format and be able to have complete control over all tracks that have been separated, so I can re-mix anything on all the recorded tracks + add new tracks etc. Is that possible or maybe in the future?:
I want to re-do certain tracks and add effects on them and add new tracks like background vocals or guitar etc. and re-mix all tracks like on a consol and add bass and treble, midrange etc.?
Did you have the plate voltage buttons engaged? Do you find that turning the impedance knob opens up the tone more than if it’s turned down?
Where can I download this software
moises.ai/?gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAo-sY671J2DJidYZzt91_BIn72cNN&gclid=Cj0KCQjw-5y1BhC-ARIsAAM_oKnaPl4x8EQud324OdV3dae6nskFErjUNZWuikVJvMxIo4U2UPmainkaAm7WEALw_wcB
The ME 50 💜🥰
Yes sir!!!
Keeping the free version
As of right now they’re both still free
Once the tracks are seperated, can you re-record a track and/or add another track?
Yep
@@Homestudiosimplifed okay, that's the one I need. Thank you very much.
Wow, i could barely tell the difference
Pretty awesome huh?!🤔
What is the mic you are using?
Shure SM7b
Bravo, super video. Kratko i jasno bez puno pričanja. Hvala
Thank you 🙏
I noticed that Spencer has a trait from his uncle Mo. he touches his nose just like him. I love it.
You’re right!!!
I use it to get the chords for the song that i would like to play also i liked that i can transpose the song one or half tone
Nice! 😎
I am 66 years old…I have over 5 decades of home recordings…this changes EVERYTHING…it will most likely take up what time I have left on the planet
Wow! That’s quite a statement.
I want to ask that if I make the master channel mono, do I need to mono every individual channel strip ?
No sir!
thanks bro,may god bless you
Thanks 🙏🏻
1. You mentioned that, you apply reverb only in mono tracks. In 12:00 you have also applied reverb on sterio tracks. 2. For the send tracks why did not you turn off post fader
I believe I was talking about the “Mixing in Mono” portion of a mix in regards to reverbs. As for the sends, I never use pre fader. Just personal preference. I feel I get a better blend that way.
@@Homestudiosimplifed Thanks for your reply. The stems I use in mixing sessions are stereo not mono, should I convert them to mono ? Also i want to ask, As you have added the FX such as reverb, delay etc on separate stereo busses and send signal to them. Let's consider We have to automate different reverb/delay parameter ( such as mix, size, time etc ) for different tracks. Is there any way to do it? And lastly how to use an aux track. I request you to make a video about proper and in-depth routing/sends for various or group of similar sounding instruments in cakewalk. Thank you
@ANonymoususer1006 this might help: ruclips.net/video/RBqF8yaZ2lY/видео.html
@@Homestudiosimplifed Thank you so much. This helped a lot 😃
I love what I am looking at here but I HATE subscriptions!! I want to OWN the app. Just give me a price for the premium app and forget the monthly or annual payments. Websites disappear. If I own the app, it will only disappear if I delete it and haven't backed it up. NO SUBSCRIPTIONS! SUBSCRIPTIONS SUCK!!! So, you just lost me. Permanently.
I understand completely. I came from the era of “buy it and own it” as well, this is why it is disheartening when all of the major companies follow suit to do things this way.
@@Homestudiosimplifed well, someone needs to reverse the trend. It's truly dishonest. People stop using a product but the bank withdrawals continue, perhaps even after the company has disappeared from the i-net. There have been many products I probably would have purchased if not for the subscriptive form. I absolutely NEVER buy them. In my opinion, subscriptions for most of these types of products should be illegal. Moises looks like a great product. I would love to own it, but I never will in subscription form. Period! Thank you for your response.
I only use the app intermittently, so a subscription works for me. I only pay for the time I am using it instead of hundreds of dollars for premium software (like I did for Ableton). And whenever I come back after a few months, they've added more latest and greatest features that I have at my disposal for less than the cost of one restaurant dinner. I guess to each their own.
i like master B more. It sounds a bit deeper. But for me it's a bit hard to spot the differences if we are not listening very carefully. It's like you said, in the end the master is like the final touches of art, you put your taste and preferences. Bandlab looks like a great tool if you want a quick and safe master
Yea sir!
great interview, I have Mike Senior - Mixing Secrets for the Small Studio. great book.
He’s a great guy for sure!
Yall been brainwashed with the stupid 'botique' moniker. "Botique build quality at a budget lroce of 99$" Yea for a hindred bucks, every pedal on earth at that same price is built to the same standard

I have so many old songs that my band from the late 90’s early 2000’s recorded. Some mastered down to CD, some on old cassettes from 4 tracks, & some have 50 + tracks from our old DAW system. My bassist & drummer passed away much too young & we were never able to get very good recordings of several songs. Can Moises be used to separate the tracks & transfer to another app to re-record guitar tracks etc? I mostly want to save the original bass & drum tracks & build from them since they can never be re-recorded. Thanks for any help. I’m just now getting back into playing & am wanting to focus on remastering all of our old tracks but don’t know where to begin.
This can do all that, yes! Sorry to hear about your loss.

Yes sir!
Pink people are still amazed 😮..😅😂
hi how do you repeat notes in cakewalk please
For MIDI?
How do I keep the Harmonizing...the Judds for instance...I wanna lose the main vocal but keep the harmonizing. Even my own original I want to make it Karaoke, how do I keep the background harmonies while eliminating the lead? It is Shana Lynn Walk Again...thanks
At 3:48, the bpm/metronome detection was out of sync with the song. Why?
Latency
🔥
Thanks 🙏🏻
A sounds better to me although they are very close
Awesome
For the price, it would fit the bill of the small things I would need it to do. I'm actually impressed.
Yeah it’s not bad at all!
Can you copy the chord progression for each part into a bassline generator like EZ Bass? My church doesn't have a bassist and I'd like to be able to create bass tracks for our songs without having to draw it into a piano roll.
It works most of the time… 😉
@@Homestudiosimplifed So, I'm naive and inexperienced. What do I select and how do I get it into EZ Bass? I'd like to be able to select each section (Intro, Verse, Chorus, etc) along with the chord notations and plug them into a chord generator for bass midi. Is that possible?
@kd2mill sorry I thought I’d covered that in this review.
So this is for professionals.people who have a previous background in production by the the way the comments are reading
It’s a great practice tool as well
This is anything but easy
Like anything, it has a learning curve.
Thanks Robert… I just had a friend show his setup with this device…. He was also impressed… great tool for all these imperfect rooms!! Hope you’re having a good summer!!
For sure! Thanks for watching and taking the time to say hey!
I wish honestly that they would let you use more than just two sets of speakers with this. I currently use my own custom measurements on two monitors, then using a set of towers to offset the lack of bass that the monitors produce. The end result is some of the best audio that I (or anyone who has walked into this room) have heard. I use EQ APO to setup the eq to allow each speaker to offset the others weakest points. If they designed this in a way that you could use multiple speakers at once I would be 100% on board with it.
Don’t quote me on this, but I am pretty sure someone recently covered this! If I come across it again I will reach out!
Instead of selecting a clip and pressing “T” You can just press the mouse wheel button on any clip waveform and its gon pop up the tool bar, its much much faster!
Excellent!
Is there any way to use Ripple Edit and automatically get rid of all the gaps between clips on my podcast track that I get after I use the Remove Silence function?
In Logic, I was able to select all the clips and use the Shuffle Left function to move all the clips next to each other after I removed the silence.
With the Ripple Edit on, just delete the section you don’t want and it will automatically remove the silence by moving the audio over.
@Homestudiosimplified Thanks for the reply. I delete all silences with a function called Remove Silence, not manually. In this scenario, Ripple Edit has no effect even if it is turned on. It leaves all the clips with gaps between each clip. I thought Cakewalk had a function like Logic, Shuffle Left. I can simply select all the clips with gaps that the Remove Silence function created and select the Shuffle Left function, which automatically puts every clip next to each other. We intend to move our production to a Windows environment, but as I can see, no Windows DAW has this simple and extremely useful function.
Thanks
Welcome!
Great cimbo: HSS + X.
I fear it's not just starters that will be generated from now on. AI will take over pop and film.
That is a valid fear… 😰
It sounds like muzak to my ears.
😝
❤🤍💙🦋🐦
That’s awesome!!
Not smart for voiceovers. We want to get rid of reverb.
For some instances, a little reverb can be helpful to the VO to set just under the ambiance of the scene. But, yeah, generally speaking reverb for a voiceover is not good.
Good review. Glad you actually used the mics. Some reviews just show the gear and say it sounds nice. At least you can hear them in this video.
Thank you!
Very comprehensive. Your video has reminded me how to use it. The BR800 allows a player to concentrate more on playing than focus mainly on the IT.
Thank you for watching! That is a fair assessment and the outcome is better music!
Will it export the click tracks as tempo maps ( MIDI Tempo info ) ?
You can export the click by itself
What is this pastor’s name and what church does he lead
Pastor Aaron Arrowood of The Tabernacle at Sandy Creek
I tried the paid version for Moises but could not find a way to separate the female vocals and male vocals in 2 separate tracks. Is this possible with Moises ?
No, that would just be considered vocals. We have t got there yetz
